ART 17TH MEWP with Pantograph

New product development relies upon practical, technical and sales experience, and this is illustrated in the evolution of Rail Product’s range of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPS) and pantographs. Managing Director Derek Burns and his team can draw on decades of front-line working experience in the rail industry, and as a result Rail Products is fast becoming one of the leading manufacturers of MEWPS across the World.

In conjunction with Manitou, who provide a world-wide back up service, Derek and his team continue to design and engineer innovative and technically advanced road/rail MEWPS, namely the ART17T, enhanced ART 17TH and the new Multi-Gauge ART17THM which with its unique multi gauge system can singularly work across all major rail networks around the world.

Working from zero cant to 120 cant, these machines have a maximum working height of 16.25m with a 400kg basket and 360 degree rotation, plus an outreach of 8.95m with the telescopic arm fully extended giving total flexibility when working on the rail.

All models also have the ability to be fitted with a ‘Pantograph’ enabling the MEWP, for the first time ever to measure and record height and stagger measurements while on the move.

Features

  • 400kg Basket Capacity
  • Continuous 3600 Turret Rotation
  • 94m outreach with telescopic arm fully extended
  • Multigauge 1067-1600 (options available in Single, Multi and Tri-Gauge)
  • Full stability on 180mm cant in work mode and 200mm cant in travel mode
  • Travels over the side at 900 at a 120mm on various cants, depending on gauge, working at all times with a full load of 400kg
  • Pantograph measures and records Height and Stagger measurements while on the move
  • Onboard control panel with Pantograph in working mode
