The Abtus ABT7100 Track Geometry Trolley is a measuring device that records track geometry while being pushed by an operator at walking speed.
Geometry data is collected at normal walking speed and displayed both numerically and graphically, in real-time, on a Panasonic ToughPad Tablet. Furthermore, recorded data, including Distance, Super Elevation, Gauge, and Twist, can be easily transferred to a PC via USB key in the widely used .CSV file format. Additionally, the Abtus software allows the user to set a wide range of measurement parameters and tolerance profiles, enabling quick and accurate identification of ‘out of specification’ recordings.
The equipment requires only a single operator and can be used without track possession, where local standards allow. Moreover, the trolley can be assembled and disassembled in just 5 seconds, making it convenient for carrying to and from the site. It is supplied with two padded carry bags for easy transportation in small vehicles.
