The Melvelle Equipment Rail Gauging and Equipment Trolley combine’s two operations into one and can be used independently by removing the gauging beam, held in place with two pins.
The Gauging Beam has two internal cylinders to increase the rail gauge and two external cylinders to decrease the rail gauge. Each set of cylinders can be locked in place to hold gauge while the track is re-clipped/fastened. The gauge can be measured with a light weight track gauge. Also available with a high-pressure power pack.
