Turnouts from Track Tec
Track Tec Group makes turnouts, sleepers and fastening systems in six plants across Poland and Germany, with roots going back to 1836. Its trackwork plant in Zawadzkie designs, machines and assembles turnouts in-house.
Melvelle brings the range to Australian networks. We work through the specification with you and coordinate engineering, delivery and support with Track Tec.

How they're built
Machined, forged, assembled
- CNC machining of switch points and solid frog blocks
- 3,000-tonne press forges tongue rails to standard profile
- Head-hardened rails and frogs for longer wear life
- Flash-butt welding, with no filler metal
Laid out before it ships
Turnouts are pre-assembled and checked in the hall.
