FP-192 Emergency Response & Inspection Trolley
Footage filmed under controlled conditions by trained operators. The FP-192 is configured to your network's speed and operating limits; some clips show earlier-generation trolleys.
One trolley. Every gauge. Rapid response.
A lightweight, self-propelled rail trolley two people build in minutes and carry in a ute — then drive on-track at up to 30 km/h to inspect, respond and evacuate. Battery-electric, multi-gauge, and now in its fourth generation. Designed and built in Newcastle.
610–1600
Every gauge
610, 914, 1067, 1435 and 1600 mm — narrow through broad. A scissor gauge adjustment sets the track width on the spot, so one trolley works every network it's sent to.
700 kg
Four aboard
The emergency-response deck carries up to four people and their equipment — a whole crew to an incident, or passengers away from one. Front and rear gates open for a ramp straight off a stranded train.
70 km
On one charge
Silent 52V lithium-ion drive with up to four battery modules, recharged in around four hours. Regenerative braking tops the batteries back up on every descent.
Minutes
Two-person build
It breaks down into man-portable pieces that two people assemble on the rail without tools — no crane, no truck, no road access needed to get on-track.
Ready when the network isn't
On-track under balloon lights during a night possession. Silent battery drive and rapid two-person deployment make it the tool crews reach for when a line has to be cleared fast.

Options & accessories
Consist ramp panel (Gen 4)
The front or rear gate folds down into a ramp, letting passengers step from a stranded train straight onto the trolley deck — the core of the Gen 4 evacuation design.
Inspection deck configuration
An alternate 550 kg deck set up for track inspection duties on the same multi-gauge chassis.
Crane-lift deployment
A lifting configuration for placing the trolley on and off track by hoist where a manual two-person lift isn't practical.
Balloon lighting & floodlight
Glare-free balloon lighting and a 5700K LED floodlight for night possessions and incident scenes.
