Rail-mounted profile grinders for grinding the head and sides of the rail — dressing welds, removing surface defects and restoring the rail profile.
Built on Melvelle's proven 157 grinder platform: a fast-cut grinding wheel for a high cutting rate, wide-set rail rollers for the smoothest possible finish, and flange rollers that carry the grinder's weight when grinding the rail face. Available with a modified Yanmar diesel engine, or as the new battery-electric machine in the Melvelle Electric Series.
