The Abtus ABT8100 enables the user to take height and stagger measurements of the OHL (overhead line) using a Hilti PD-E Measurement Laser.
The operator positions the laser at eye level, and its 90º viewing prism allows them to see both the desired cable and the laser location marker simultaneously, regardless of weather conditions, including bright sunshine.
The Rail Head to Cable Height reading appears on an LCD display, with the value automatically compensated for the laser’s height offset, eliminating the need for on-site calculations.
Additionally, the cable stagger position is clearly indicated on a scale located on the lateral beam of the gauge.
