The Abtus ABT4180 Wheel Backs Gauge is a lightweight tool used to measure the wheel back-to-back dimension. The thread profile allows post-turning evaluation of thread shape. The extended locating probe is for use during wheel to axle pressing (P only).
Constructed from hard wearing GRP, the gauge is electrically non-conductive making it suitable for use in areas of 3rd and 4th rail electrification.
