Power Steel Rail Drill - Model SRD119

Our Superior Rail Drill is built to last. Produced and field proven in Australia to be the best. Simplicity and good design are the keys to this reliable rail drill. One of our clients has made the statement that these drills are 'the best machines' he has used".

The drill shown has our new quick acting clamp, push down lock, pull up release. It is wide opening, quicker to clamp and release, and more robust than earlier drills.

Our 5.5hp 400rpm drill uses a tungsten carbide or coblat HSS spade cutter. Tungsten carbide cutters are more fragile but will drill a hole through rail in about 20 seconds. The 5.5hp drill is also available as a 140rpm drill to give extra power for drilling. Other speeds available on request. Operator choice of manual or automatic power feed.

Standard Flat drill adapter and either 5/16“ thick collets, or 3/8” thick collets. Optional No 3 morse taper. Optional of customer specified drive adaptors - price on request.

Dimensions: 1270 L x 575 w x 530mm high
Approx Weight: 64 kg ( and fitted with two carry handles).

The drill shown right is fitted with a pressurised coolant supply.
