Casing Jacks

30 Tonne 90 mm Dia Max. Jaw to 137 Tonne to 220 Dia max Jaws.

This jack is available in standard 12″, 18″ and 28″ stroke, with maximum bowl openings of 4.5″, 6.25″ and 8″. Alterations can be made to suit specific customer requirements.

Each set of jaws are in pairs of 4. Sizes are to suit customer requirements (with specifications of pipe size). The jaws are retained in handle sets to keep the jaws together.

Jacking operation is by cycling the cylinders up and return, each time the jaws alternatively grasp the drill pipe locking them in the bowl taper. It is always to be noted that the jacking forces of 75 ton and 100 ton are substantial and great care needs to be exercised in the event of the drill pipe suddenly becoming free. There is great energy stored in a long length of the drill pipe under full jacking loads.

Shorter stroke jacks are available on request.

50 ton jacks (shown right) can be supplied with a lockable pallet for quick transport loading. Pallets show set of 5 jaws from 2.75-5.5″ diameter jaws.

The jack (shown right – blue) is the 28″ stroke model and 6.25″mm bowl opening to 100 ton capacity.
